Corporate History

Very Japan Inc. was established in March 1996. Initially called UF Communications, Inphonix was established in December 1996, independent from Forval Group achieved in a management buyout (MBO) in September 2002, and renamed as Inphonix Inc. in December 2002. They focused on consumer oriented set services for mobile phones and international calls, mobile phone rental service, billing outsourcing business, and telecommunication consulting.

In August 2003, the company changed its name to Inphonix Inc. as the result of Consolidation of Inphonix Inc. and Very Inc. Inphonix received investment from Cybozu, Inc. (recognized as the leading Web-based groupware provider in Japan since its introduction to the market in 1997) in May 2005 for total and efficiently mobile solutions.
